NICKLAS BERGLUND

Ash Williams

Nicklas is a Swedish actor, dancer and singer based in Stockholm where he’s been seen in many musicals such as Mamma Mia the Musical, Rock of Ages, Jersey Boys and the Book of Mormon. He’s performed on TV-events including Sommarkrysset, Bingolotto, Melodifestivalen and the Eurovision Song Contest. He’s also been seen in the crime drama series Anna Holt Polis, Brottsvåg and Arne Dahl.  ​ For the last fifteen years he’s been active as a studio singer and voice actor. Nicklas has sung many children’s show themes and dubbed countless cartoon characters into Swedish. He’s given his voice to live action actors in both Swedish and English productions and has played English speaking original characters in video games. He’s also the Swedish dialogue and vocal director for many TV-series. These include Disney’s Iwaju and Bluey and movies like the live action versions of Dumbo, Lady and the Tramp and Pinocchio. He has also directed the animated Big Hero 6, Trolls World Tour and Scrooge a Christmas Carol, to name a few. ​ Outside of the performing arts Nicklas is a trained arborist and enjoys working in the woods with his friends, climbing and chopping down trees. VILMA EKLÖV

Annie/Shelly

Vilma is a musical theatre actress from the south of Finland. Since her move over the Baltic Sea she’s graduated from Stockholm Musikalartistutbildning (SMU) at BASE23, done several musical theatre productions all over Sweden. She’s played roles as Maggie in A Chorus Line at Kulturhuset Stadsteatern, covered all the nuns in The Sound of Music convent at Kulturhuset Stadsteatern, Luisa in The Fantasticks at Oktoberteatern and Amalia Balash in the romantic comedy She Loves Me at Kulturhuset Spira. Vilma is beyond excited to take on the roles as Annie/Shelly and explore this crazy material.

IDA SWANN

Cheryl

After graduating from the prestigous musical theatre college The Urdang Academy in London, Ida Swann has had a successful career in Germany. She got her professional debut in the Meat Loaf musical Bat Out of Hell and then spent several years on roller skates in Andrew Lloyd Webber's spectacular train musical Starlight Express, covering several different roles as an on stage swing. She returns to the Starlight Express stage every now and then, as they reach out when help is needed. ​ Ida is beyond excited to take on the iconic role of the demonic little sister Cheryl in Evil Dead The Musical. LINDA HOLMGREN

Linda

Linda trained at Rytmus SMK, and the Balettakademien in Stockholm and Gothenburg. She has since then worked professionally as a performer and singer in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany and the UK, in shows like Tanz der Vampire, Sound of Music, Bat out of Hell, Mamma Mia! the Musical, and the World Premiere of Stephen Schwartz's Mit Eventyr. She has also played roles like Killer Queen and Ozzy in We Will Rock You, Regina in Rock of Ages, Vivienne Kensington in Legally Blonde, Kate Monster/Lucy the Slut in Avenue Q, Dragon/Mama Bear in Shrek the Musical, El Gallo in The Fantasticks, Kesa/Wife/Actress in See What I Wanna See, and Jellylorum/Griddlebone (cover Grizabella) in Cats. She has also performed as a puppeteer at Allsång på Skansen and was a finalist in TV3's West End Star. Linda has an immense passion for the slighty weird and unexpected type of musical theatre and is a huge fan of horror movies, so this is an absolute dream come true to be in such an epic show like EVIL DEAD the Musical! JOHAN TOLOUE SAMUELSSON

Johan is a Gotlander with a long stage career who has worked on many stages around Europe. The latest international production was "Das Phantom Der Oper" in Germany as the title role Phantom. Roles include Rolf in "Sound of Music", Riff in "West Side Story", Johnny in "Dirty Dancing", Vince Fontine in "Grease", as well as productions of "Chicago", "Cats" and "Jesus Christ Superstar" among many others. His voice can be heard in the swedish dubb of "Sherlock Gnomes" and "Cinderella". Johan can also title himself Swedish and European champion in Rock 'n Roll dance!

VICTOR MOLINO SANCHEZ

Jake

Victor is a multi talented artist who's trained at Stockholms dramatiska högskola and has a degree in professional dance from Svenska Balettskolan. Victor has vast experience of performing on the Swedish theatre stages and has participated in several musicals, including "Singin' in the rain", "Evita", "West side story", "Spamalot", "A chorus line", "Sweet Charity" among others. Most recently Victor could be seen in Åbo Swedish Theatre's production of "Something rotten - en rutten musikal". Aside from performing in musical theatre, Victor is a part of the Drag Queen duo ”Drag under galoscherna”, a musical dragshow!

ALBERT HÄGGBLOM

Albert is a multi talented actor, musical theatre performer and comedian. When it comes to musicals Albert has been seen in Grease, West Side Story, My Fair Lady, Little Women and Urinetown among others, on stages in both Sweden and Finland. Lately he has acted in more comedic plays such as “The Play That Goes Wrong”, “Berusade” at Dramaten, as well as in “Fuck Tinder” and “Tomten Kommer Strax…” which are comedy plays of his own creation. He has been hosting his own Albert Häggblom live Talkshow on Södermalm about the Finnish-Swedish identity, and sometimes in between productions you can see him as a programme host or portraying the famous “Mumintrollet” on a cruise ship to Finland. Albert has studied “scary” musical theatre acting at the Ballet Academy of Stockholm and holds a bachelor degree in “Evil” acting from the Academy of Music and Drama in Gothenburg. Let there be blood. Booo!

ANDERS SAHLMAN

Anders Sahlman trained as an actor at the prestigious Calle Flygares Teaterskola in Stockholm. He's worked in Sound of Music at the Stockholm Stadsteater and in several tv series, including Hjerson, Leif & Billy, Padeldrömmar and Beck. As a comedian he's performed at most stand up clubs around Stockholm. Anders is also a coach in presentation technique and has worked behind the scenes in the swedish equialent of Strickly Ballroom - Let's Dance. ELIN PERSSON

Female Swing

Elin has since graduating from Stockholm Musikalartist Utbildning at BASE23 (SMU) been performing all over the world, from Thailand to Cyprus, singing songs by artists like ABBA, Queen, Kiss, Led Zeppelin and Avicii - all the while being an on-the-go Swing, ready to jump in at a moments notice. Closer to home she’s also been performing on shows like Allsång på Skansen and Masked Singer. Elin is (like Ida) terrified of scary movies but musical theatre with an extra dramatic flare is right up her alley and she’s super stoked to sink her teeth into this fun-tastic material!

KALLE THUNELL

Kalle Thunell is a versatile singer and actor trained at RML and Åsa FHSK. In 2012, he was named "Newcomer of the Year" at "Manifestgalan" with his former band Killerball. Currently studying music production, Kalle has penned jingles for podcasts and lent his voice to a multitude of tunes. If you have watched Swedish TV or Youtube the last 10 years, chances are high that you've already heard his voice. His musical credits include Spring Awakening, Jesus Christ Superstar and Little Shop of Horrors. Kalle has also dubbed for both feature films and series. He currently leads the WES Musical Choir. He began his journey in musical theatre in 2017 with an original New Zealand musical, performed in English, which followed four youths getting into trouble in the woods—a theme not far from Evil Dead - The Musical, right? This time, Kalle is thrilled to dive back into a forest tale, especially since this one promises a lot more demons and a whole lot more blood!

IVAN PERSSON

Male Swing

Hailing from the flat plains of Skåne, Sweden, Ivan discovered his love for musical theatre through amateur theatre productions. This passion led him to further his education at the renowned Urdang Academy in London. Since then, Ivan has taken on a variety of exciting roles, including the Minstrel in Something Rotten, Al Deluca in A Chorus Line, and the understudy for Bert in Mary Poppins. He's also appeared in Kinky Boots and played Vittorio Vidal in Sweet Charity. In addition to musical theatre, Ivan has worked as a singer and performer on luxury cruises in the Caribbean and as a show artist on stages around the world. He loves horror movies—but for him, it's really all about the snacks! 🍿🎬
